The Philippine National Police (PNP) is the national police force of the Philippines, mandated to enforce the law, prevent and control crimes, maintain peace and order, and ensure public safety.
History
1991
The Philippine National Police was activated on January 29, 1991 through the merger of the Philippine Constabulary and the Integrated National Police, pursuant to Republic Act 6975. Headquarters are located at Camp Crame, Quezon City.
