VIRTUAL MEETING WITH BANGLADESH POLICE

ASEANAPOL Secretariat made a virtual meeting with the Bangladesh Police on Wednesday, 22 July 2020 at 4.00 p.m. The agenda of the meeting was to start a project on a Royal Brunei Police Force’s Red Notice on a Bangladeshi citizen, a fugitive wanted for prosecution in Brunei. Other issues discussed were the follow up on Bangladesh application to become Observer with ASEANAPOL and potential future collaboration.

The fruitful meeting between ED Jim Wee, DPS Joni Getamala, DPP Jacky Tang and the Bangladeshi Police, Assistant Inspector General Mohiul Islam was conducted in a constructive and cordial manner.
