Border Management & Technology Summit ASIA at the Grand Millennium Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

On 19 October 2016, the Executive Director of ASEANAPOL Secretariat, Brig. Gen. Yohanes Agus Mulyono were invited to the Border Management & Technology Summit ASIA at the Grand Millennium Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. After displaying the ASEANAPOL Corporate video, he then gave a presentation on the Overview of ASEAN Border Security. In his presentation, he explained the role of ASEANAPOL and ASEANAPOL Secretariat and how ASEANAPOL deal with border security among its member countries. He also shared the current situation and policing mechanism on the region borders and the future planning for ASEANAPOL. His presentation then followed by a question and answer session.
The Summit was an event organized by Intelligence-Sec Limited aimed to gather law enforcement agencies, government sector, NGOs and technology/expertise supply companies as a platform to meet and discuss on how to enhance border security.
