The ASEANAPOL Secretariat, represented by Police Senior Colonel Dr. Kongkrissada Kittithiraphong, Executive Director of ASEANAPOL, participated in the Third Roundtable Meeting on Crime Situation in the Lancang–Mekong Region and the Launch Ceremony of Joint Operation “Safe Lancang-Mekong 2026,” held from 23 to 27 March 2026 at the Training Base of Guangxi Public Security Department, Chongzuo, Guangxi, People’s Republic of China.

On this occasion, the ASEANAPOL Secretariat presented its approach to strengthening regional cooperation through the RTP-9 framework and the Nine Transformation agenda, emphasizing the importance of moving cooperation from dialogue to practical implementation.

ASEANAPOL further underscored the role of its regional data-sharing platforms, particularly the e-ADS / ADSAI system, as key mechanisms to support timely intelligence exchange, coordinated investigations, and more effective joint operational responses against transnational organized crime in the region.

The participation reaffirmed ASEANAPOL’s commitment to promoting closer coordination and translating regional cooperation into concrete and operational outcomes.
