ASEANAPOL and INTERPOL Forge Stronger Alliance to Combat Global Cybercrime

SINGAPORE – In a critical expansion of regional security cooperation, the Executive Director of ASEANAPOL Secretariat conducted an official visit to the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI) in Singapore to meet with Mr. Neal Jetton, Director of the Cybercrime Directorate.

The high-level discussions focused on neutralizing the growing threat of cybercrime and sophisticated scam syndicates operating within Southeast Asia. Both organizations reached a landmark agreement to synchronize their efforts, with ASEANAPOL taking the lead on regional initiatives while receiving strategic and technical support from INTERPOL.
