ASEANAPOL Executive Director Meets Director of International Cooperation Department, Singapore Police Force

SINGAPORE – On February 26, 2026, a high-level strategic meeting took place between the Executive Director of ASEANAPOL Secretariat and Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) Mr. William Koh, Director of the International Cooperation Department (ICD) of the Singapore Police Force (SPF).

Following an official study visit, SAC William Koh hosted a working lunch to further discuss the deepening of bilateral and regional ties. The dialogue focused on the critical evolution of ASEANAPOL into the central hub for ASEAN National Police forces, streamlining communication and intelligence sharing across the region.

Both leaders reached a consensus on the Executive Director’s strategic vision, specifically regarding the RTP-9: Regional Transformation Principles. The agreement emphasizes:

* Process Optimization: Elevating the standard of working procedures to ensure seamless cooperation between member countries.

* Joint Operational Teams: Enhancing the capacity for multi-national task forces to respond to transnational threats in real-time.
